Chrome Troubleshooting – AdCellerant

If you are experiencing some issues with the new Proposal tool, this may be due to your browser. There are some simple steps to troubleshoot your browser which may fix any issues you are having accessing the tool or viewing images.

Clearing Cache and Cookies

Cookies are files created by websites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing information. With cookies, sites can keep you signed in, remember your site preferences, and give you locally relevant content.

There are two types of cookies:

First-party cookies are created by the site you visit. The site is shown in the address bar.
Third-party cookies are created by other sites. These sites own some of the content, like ads or images, that you see on the webpage you visit.

To clear your cache and cookies...

On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More More.
Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.

Update Chrome

We recommend always using the most up to date version, running on an outdated version of Google Chrome will affect the Proposal tool, as well as other websites. It is a quick and easy process to check your chrome version and upgrading if need be.

Normally updates happen in the background when you close and reopen your computer's browser. But if you haven't closed your browser in a while, you might see a pending update:

On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, look at More .
If an update is pending, the icon will be colored:
- Green: An update was released less than 2 days ago.
- Orange: An update was released about 4 days ago.
- Red: An update was released at least a week ago.

To update Google Chrome:

On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More .
Click Update Google Chrome.
- Important: If you can't find this button, you're on the latest version.
Click Relaunch.

The browser saves your opened tabs and windows and reopens them automatically when it restarts. Your Incognito windows won't reopen when Chrome restarts. If you'd prefer not to restart right away, click Not now. The next time you restart your browser, the update will be applied.
